1.“You’re an idiot!” “Not according to my test scores”

2. “Then I guess I can tell you that I did a stealth-pinch
move on him.” Emma grinned. “I can pretty much guess what that is.” “I’m sure
you can. I sidle over, pretending I’m listening in on the conversation, and
then—bam!—I pinch and leave.”

that comment and found Sylvia standing beside her with her mask pushed to the
top of her head. She held a plate of finger food in one hand and a glass of

too.” “He has intelligent buns? Does that make him a smart-ass?”
